Be assured of special remembrance in prayer. The Parish Council will meet today at 6:30 PM. Did you know that there are four different Eucharistic Prayers, plus others for special occasions or circumstances. Among the four are: 1) The Roman Canon “which may be used on any day”; 2) Eucharistic Prayer #2 “particularly suitable for weekdays and special circumstances”; 3) Eucharistic Prayer #3 “particularly suited for Sundays and holydays”; 4) Eucharistic Prayer #4 “provides a fuller summary of the history of salvation”. On Sundays we have almost always used #3. The Worship Committee encourages the use of a wider selection. We are getting down to the last few weeks of this fiscal year. Judging from the giving in the Offertory in recent weeks, it seems very unlikely that we will reach the amount that we have budgeted. Father Robert Dalton will be our guest celebrant next Sunday.
